Description

Sodium Erythorbate is produced from sugars derived from different sources, such as beets, sugar cane, and corn. Applications include food and beverages (food additive used predominantly in meats such as hot dogs, beef sticks and bologna, poultry and soft drinks, baked goods, and potato salad as preservatives and to improve flavor stability and industrial (development of corrosion inhibitors for metals, in active packaging to extend shelf-life).
