Description
A solid, aromatic azole that contains two fused rings. It is also a class of compounds containing the benzotrizole skeleton. Uses: Corrosion inhibitor, aircraft deicer, anti-icer fluid, benzotriazole skeletons are found in pharmaceuticals such as antifungal, antibacterial, and anthelmintic drugs. CAS # 95-14-7
