A clear oily, odorless liquid that is insoluble in water and derived from petroleum. It is stable under ordinary conditions though it may solidify at room temperature. It is also incompatible with strong oxidizers. Uses: In food, medical, and cosmetic industries. CAS# (8012-95-1)
