Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM) is a colorless liquid used as a raw material in a range of applications: adhesive and coating formulations and products, as molecular building blocks, or intermediates, printing inks, paper and plastics as well as fabrics and pigments. It’s has a low flash point, a characteristic odor and is soluble in most organic solvents including chlorinated solvents, but is not soluble in water.
