Description

A white amorphous powder also known as calcium orthophosphate or tertiary calcium phosphate or bone ash. It is found naturally as a rock and also in the skeletons and teeth of vertebrate animals. Uses: In powdered spices as an anti-caking agent, a raw material in the production of phosphoric acid and fertilizers, a raising agent, in cheese products, as a nutritional supplement, in porcelain and dental powders, as an antacide, and in gene transfection.
