Description

Titanium dioxide is a white solid that is insoluble in water. Also known as titanium dioxide, it is the naturally occurring oxide of titanium. As a pigment it is called titanium white or Pigment White 6. It is the most widely used white pigment because of its brightness and high refractive index. Uses: Pigment, as a photocatalyst under ultraviolet light, in sunscreen, and in the detoxification or remediation of wastewater. CAS# 13463-67-7
