Description
Glacial methacrylic acid is a colorless liquid with a penetrating odor. It can be readily polymerized and its presence in copolymers reduces the softening temperature and hardness and improves the adhesion of surface coatings and adhesives. Uses: To produce homopolymers and copolymers, improves adhesion of polymers in paint and adhesives, in the synthesis of other chemicals, as flocculants, ion exchangers and as polyelectrolytesforsoil conditioning.
